About the Artwork

La Luna was inspired Joondalup Lake in Perth, Western Australia. The idea came to me from one of my many adventures to Neil Hawkins Park, where the lake is situated. One evening, while riding my bike through the cycle path, I stopped in a clearing to take a photo of the moonlight on the water. Thus this painting was born.
