Work Placement - Week 10: Business Cards & Carbon Fiber Twill.

So....this morning I finished my artwork and Paul has approved it for framing!!! Oh my gosh, what a journey

See my final tweaks from this morning below, followed by photos of my finished piece. We have booked an appointment with SportsFrame next Friday to take the artwork across and decide on a Frame and Plaque.

Right! Onto the next project of business cards. Paul has sent me a description of the type of aircraft he wanted potentially represented on the business cards:

Bombardier Dash 8

Fokker F100

Airbus A320

Fairchild 227

Conquest 441

DG500 Glider

Robinson R44

Sikorkey S92

Augusta AW139,

Cessna Caervan,

Palitus PC12 & 24.

His original idea was to have the entire list above created into a collage on the back of the business cards - however after a long discussion, we decided it would look too crowded and detract from the message he wanted to send to clients. The business cards had to represent that AVC deals in Composites & Carbon Fiber. I set about researching and obtained images of the above aircraft, with the aim of utilising them in some form.

The below images were edited in Canva, white image on black background. I think ultimately we were going to end up with a black background for the business cards. However, I played around with various designs in the meantime.

Airbus A320

DG500 Glider

Bombardier Dash 8

Fokker F100

Cessna Caravan

Sikorkey S92

Robinson r44
